We are building the engineer we kept wishing we had.
Most mechanical parts in the world were never analysed. Not because anyone thought that was fine, but because checking them properly costs a day that nobody has, and the part usually holds anyway. Until it does not.
Why this exists
Designing a part is not the hard bit. The hard bit is everything that has to happen around it before anyone will sign it: the sizing, the checking, the manufacturability questions, the drawing, the parts list, the paperwork. It is days of work per part, most of it unglamorous, and it is why so much of it gets skipped.
So a bracket gets designed by eye, drawn quickly and sent out. It probably works. Nobody knows by how much.
We think that gap closes now, and not because a model can be asked to guess at a stress. It closes because an agent can carry the whole chain: design the geometry, run the analysis that proves it, check it can be made, and write it all up with the evidence attached. That is a different claim from asking a chatbot to draw you a part.
The whole design of LMCAD follows from one decision: it has to be able to prove what it tells you. Analysis is not the product, it is the evidence. Every result is checked against theory, mesh convergence is demonstrated rather than assumed, and anything it could not evaluate is marked as such instead of quietly dropped. A design engineer has to be able to review the work and put their name on it, and that is only possible if the working is all there.
What we will and will not say about it
It does the work you have been putting off
Design, sizing, analysis, manufacturability, drawings, parts lists and the report behind them, for the ordinary parts that never get looked at closely. That is a real amount of work and it is what we are selling.
It does not replace your judgement
Nothing goes out without a person signing it off. Releasing a design carries responsibility software cannot hold, and any vendor telling you otherwise is selling you a liability rather than a tool.
We would rather show you than tell you
No pilot starts on a slide. It starts on a part you have already built, where you already know the right answer, so you can judge the work rather than the pitch.
How we work with the first teams
We are early, and we are not going to pretend otherwise by putting invented logos on a page. What we can offer instead is unusual access: you talk to the people building it, and what you tell us changes what gets built next.
Every engagement starts with a part you have already made. One you have drawings for, where you know what the answer should be. We run it in front of you. If it cannot match what you already know to be true, you have learned something useful and you have not spent much finding out.
After that, the work is usually building your standard parts into reusable families, so the jobs you do over and over stop taking a day each. That part tends to matter more to customers than anything on the front page.
